BIO
I am a fiber artist and a quilter. I hold a Masters degree in art and design education from RISD. During my undergraduate studies in art history, I spent a semester studying Spanish language and culture in Cuernavaca, Mexico. My work has been exhibited in the Newport Art Museum and the Rhode Island School of Design's Woods Gerry Gallery.
I live with my family surrounded by the preserved land of my grandparents' large dairy farm. The unique landscape of southeastern New England is a natural source for dye materials and a recurrent inspiration for my designs.
In addition to my studio practice, I was a public school art teacher in Rhode Island for seven years and work currently at Brown University.
